She Works in Silver
We are honoured to work alongside women artisans across Thailand, whose skill and knowledge bring depth and purpose to our work. This collection marks a new collaboration with Karen silversmith ‘Dada’, based in Phra Bat Huai Tom village in Northern Thailand.
Together, we have developed a series of silver pieces, crafted using traditional Karen techniques. Renowned for their expertise in moulding, soldering, and intricate hand-engraving, Karen silversmiths continue a centuries-old practice rooted in cultural belief and lived tradition. With a higher silver content than standard sterling, Karen silver carries a distinct brightness and a natural malleability unique to its composition.
She Works in Silver draws on a spirit of independence, self-expression, and making by hand. Each piece is crafted from approximately 97% recycled silver.
